UK Radio Directory

radiomap

Just stumbled across the 2008 Music Week guide to UK radio stations. MW is the trade publication of the UK Music Industry and this PDF seems to have been created for subscribers to their free weekly newsletters (you can sign up  here). Meantime click on the map above to download the hi res wall chart – which  includes a key with contact information for all the stations.

The phone numbers and postal addresses will probably still be correct for most of them, but it’s likely the names of some personnel (and even some of the stations) may have changed since 2008. It’s probably be safest to phone the switchboard and check before making direct contact.

Alternatively, you might want to conside lashing out on the latest edition of the Music Week Directory – which they call “the definitive guide to companies active in the UK music and media industry – record companies, music publishers, managers, recording studios, venues, you name it -  they’re all listed here.” It’ll set you back £32+VAT. One Trackback

  1. [...] Great post from Tom Robinson with links to a PDF map of the UK with all of the UK’s radio stations. Great little tool if your planning on doing some promotion of a new release. Tom already has another great post about how to package your tracks for DJs. [...]
