  7. Ah – great to be back after our break. It was very hard this week whittling such a packed inbox down to the usual shortlist of just 25. If you’d like to try doing this for yourself, you can check out all 189 tracks we listened to, here: https://soundcloud.com/freshnet/sets/inbox224.

  31. Thanks folks, your hard work was much appreciated by this music man.
Enjoyed the big walls of sound and the delicate echo’s that appeared on the Listening Post this week. Well done all and thank you for sharing .

My 5 for this week are,

CALLUM PITT – You’d Better Sell It While You Can
    HAWK – Take It Away
JOSH SAVAGE – Whisper In The Snow
    MISS REMEMBER – Fall in
    PURS – Girl In Love

  32. EMILY LOCKETT – Reflections Of Me – Great sweet, vocal-based pop song reminiscent of The Cranberries

HAWK – Take It Away – Loved the experimental nature of this song. Great doom-laden outro

PURS – Girl In Love – Modern shoegaze with a slight Indian twist in the mix. Loved the harmonies in the outro and the drone-like guitar.

THE CHEAP THRILLS – Same Old Faces – Love the whirlwind, noisy guitar in the background set against the indie rock hooks at forefront. Good mix of catchiness and experimentalism

TOAST OF BOTSWANA – Drifting Sand – Loved the old sounding production on this one. Very 60’s rock that would sit well in the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. Very resonant lead vocals too,
