But props also to ALEX SEEL, BROKEN BY ROCK, CHRIS AND THE CELERIAC, FALSE ADVERTISING, LONG COMETS, MIDE, SASHA, TRAPFIELD TRIBE… And lovely to see HANNAH SCOTT getting such a huge vote of confidence from moderators and public alike this week…

  22. Gersprungled

These five get my vote this week. Mide is quality and should be in here too. One of those irritating six into five … won’t go … mornings for me.

ALEX SEEL – Oh The Glamour
    LONG COMETS – Stile
    MICHAEL KEITHSON – Tokyo
PETE BEAT – A Life Lived Ordinary
    SOOSKI – East London

  23. DUCK – Low
    FALSE ADVERTISING – Honest
    GOODNIGHT – Hands
    LUKE DE-SCISCIO – Never Fathom

My 5 for this week are,
ALEX SEEL – Oh The Glamour
    HONEYMILK – Trip
    LONG COMETS – Stile
    MICHAEL KEITHSON – Tokyo

  25. Dale

BECKY CJ – Over Her (honestly know I’m gonna have this chorus stuck with me for days. Excellent commercial songwriting!
    FALSE ADVERTISING – Honest
HANNAH SCOTT – Weight Of Your Words
    LUKE DE-SCISCIO – Never Fathom
PETE BEAT – A Life Lived Ordinary

  26. Howdy disco citizens. Here’s my fives picks for the week –

    BECKY CJ – Over Her
CHRIS AND THE CELERIAC – Courgette Crisis
    LONG COMETS – Stile
    MICHAEL KEITHSON – Tokyo
    TRAPFIELD TRIBE – Messy

My faves of the bunch were Becky CJ, which gives me lovely London Grammar vibes, and Trapfield Tribe, who’ve produced a great song in a genre that I am usually not that fond of.

  27. DUCK – Low
    FALSE ADVERTISING – Honest
HANNAH SCOTT – Weight Of Your Words
    HONEYMILK – Trip
    SPOILERS – Nothing

  28. Steve Harris

Very annoying to only have 5!

    BROKEN BY ROCK – BluGlo
    LONG COMETS – Stile
    REMARK – ?Everything
    SOOSKI – East London
    SPOILERS – Nothing

  29. Another really strong and eclectic selection. Nearly voted for Welsh Hip Hop and thought there were some tracks (like Michael Keithson especially) that probably wouldn’t chime with the LIstening Post audience but might go down really well with more of a youth-orientated Pop audience. Definite female vocal bias to our choices this week but liked most tracks and could easily have picked a different five on another day.

    BROKEN BY ROCK – BluGlo
HANNAH SCOTT – Weight Of Your Words
    KOIYA – Brood
    SASHA – Picking Flowers
    SOOSKI – East London

  30. ALEX SEEL – Oh The Glamour
    KOIYA – Brood
    LONG COMETS – Stile
PETE BEAT – A Life Lived Ordinary
    SASHA – Picking Flowers
