New BBC Introducing Website

BBC Introducing Website

Last Monday saw a major expansion of the national BBC Introducing website with the launch of a vital new ‘Advice’ section with over 100 high quality video clips of artists like Chipmunk, Toddla T, Marina and the Diamonds and The Gossip, plus music industry professionals and BBC presenters:

The huge range of videos available includes insider tips not only from BBC staff like Huw Stephens Tim Westwood and myself but also from top professional managers, engineers, record company executives and promoters plus a wide variety of successful upcoming artists.

In addition you’ll find in-depth articles as downloadable pdf files about recording, playing live, writing songs, getting signed and more. Nationally, BBC Introducing has a strategy of directly supporting bands and music-makers with learning resources as well as  opportunities to get heard by a wider audience. We hope you’ll find it a unique, free, and completely impartial resource for independent artists – check it out at bbc.co.uk/introducing
