Welcome To Our New Home

Old Fresh On The Net logo

We’ve had a makeover here at FOTN – well, not so much a makeover as a complete redesign from the ground up – courtsey of web genius Alaric King. Once Team Freshnet came together in March 2012 the blog very quickly outgrew its original design and we now have over a hundred pages of information, nearly four hundred posts by the team – and almost four thousand comments and conversations with our readers.

Alaric has custom designed this new WordPress theme to make those resources more easily accessible for songwriters, musicians and the listening public alike. It also now resizes for mobile and tablet  platforms, while all our graphics and fonts are all vector-based for the next generation of retina displays.

It’s always a little complicated to transfer a website to a new platform – so please excuse us over the next week or two while we tidy up, make adjustments and respond to your feedback.  Regular features – such as Prick’n’Ding, Mixtape Listings, Fresh Faves and the Listening Post – will  continue as normal meanwhile…

We hope you’ll like the new site – do have a look around, explore the new sections – and let us know what yout think in a comment at the bottom of this post. Or else use our swanky new Contact page that lets you email or tweet any member of the team individually 🙂

Enjoy!

  1. Wow looks great!

One thing I did notice, in your facebook link it still shows the thumbnail of the old design – I had this problem myself the other day, solution is to go to http://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug and enter the URL of your site – it will refresh the thumbnail. Also applies to youtube video titles etc.

  2. Wow – love it …. Great work x
