Eclectic Picks: Batch 524

Every week Signal Committee present an Eclectic Picks playlist. All tracks are selected from the full inbox of 200 tracks that are submitted each week to Fresh On The Net.

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?

Our playlists are orientated to the alternative music fan. Lyrics are not essential, abstract ideas are embraced and the fusing of different genres is encouraged. If you used to write band names on your pencil case at school, you’ll probably like our playlists.

INTRODUCING HANNYA WHITE

Introducing one of our favourite humans, Hannya White

A FEW WORDS FROM HANNYA

Very chuffed to have been asked by Signal Committee to make this week Eclectic Picks on Fresh On The Net.

Really enjoyed the tracks and it’s a pleasure to bring these ones to your ears.

Starting with an instrumental piano track by composer Rob Lewis, with the track ‘Lost Signal’. With help of AI as a starting point to go to unexplored fields.

2nd track by Yodashe, a super nice intense song, go and listen to it.

Followed by Party on Machine Planet Zero, to a quiet mysterious artist duo, Mieri A+B, whom are based in Wales, lo-fi finest using analogue, loop pedals, bass guitar and more.

And bang, here comes ARPRAXIS, from London, vinyl Dj, playlist enthusianst, inspires bu early Detroit artists like Carl Craig, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson.

The sixth track is by Mike Gale and is called ‘Ocean Floor’, listen and dive.

ZIAH ZIAH, and act which looks and sounds super interesting, which I would love to see live.

The last track is by South London Dj Councelling and will give you an uplifting vibe for the night.

Much love to the artists.

Thanks for listening.

RADIO OPPORTUNITIES

We all have ambitions to get on national radio, but in the meantime there are loads of great, independent radio stations that are always looking for new music of the alternative variety. They offer no promises, but the following hosts tell me they that, if you made this list, they’d like you to get in touch to be considered for their show:

If you are are radio presenter/DJ and want to be added to the list above, just give Signal Committee a shout!
