Stealing Sheep-Making the right moves

I wanted to just drop a short line to say how pleased I am to see a band doing so well: a fine example to other’s of how its possible to do it in my opinion.

Stealing Sheep have been a long time favourite of Tom R, featuring many times on his BBC Introducing show – and alongside Tom I have had the pleasure of including this wonderful band on a couple of volumes of the HOME compilations.

They make stunning music that has been described by The Sunday Times as “Sepulchral lo-fi soundscapes and lyrical alchemy” and have shown to others what is it possible to achieve by hard work, being grounded (and being lovely people) and by making great music.

You can hear their songs oozing out of radio shows across the land, see them playing some choice live dates and representing their music through artwork, videos (see below) and photos which are totally unique and bang on point for a young band going somewhere.

Stealing Sheep keep making all the right moves and I am overjoyed for them that they are on the rise – thoroughly deserved.

Check them out whenever the chance presents itself, you will not be disappointed.

They are playing live all over the continent with a new single and album due to fly soon on Heavenly Recordings.
