THIS WEEK :BDY_PRTS
Bdy_Prts are a two piece from Glasgow-Jenny Reeve (Strike the Colours) and Jill O’Sullivan (Sparrow and the Workshop).
The pair originally met while trying to avoid a snowstorm in Perthshire. Once they had safely driven to dry land, the two solidified their friendship over an apple pie in Little Chef – or as I used to fondly call it – The Little Thief.
They are that new that just 1 song has surfaced from the duo so far but what a real corker of a tune it is -‘IDLU’ – its full of crunchy loveliness & its available now.
Its a song alive with melodic intent & electronic wonderfulness and includes a hook good enough to keep your humming default setting busy for weeks.
I was that taken with its sound dancing around my earlobes I felt it would be rude of me not to ask them to be interviewed for Fresh On The Net.
They have already supported the likes of Malcolm Middleton, Aidan Moffat, Scout Niblett and Scott Hutchinson (Frightened Rabbit) and I can’t wait to see what they do next.
