Dear friends Of Freshnet – I hope you’ll forgive a quick burst of shameless selfpromotion, but after dispensing advice to other people on how to promote their music all these years, it’s time for me to try following some of it myself.
My own album Only The Now is coming out on October 15th, so if you’ve found any of my work here at Fresh On The Net or at BBC Introducing helpful – and feel like returning the favour – I’d massively appreciate you sharing this video across your own networks a couple of times over the next few weeks.
Only The Now was produced by the amazing Gerry Diver and mastered at Abbey Road, with additional mixing by Ben Hillier. It’s available to order on CD, Vinyl or digital formats via my PledgeMusic page – with instant download of 2 tracks plus all behind the scenes videos, stories and free Mp3s of demos, live tracks etc from our campaign over the first half of 2015.
Special guests performing on the album include TV Smith, Colin Firth, Billy Bragg, Martin Carthy, Lisa Knapp, Swami Baracus, Ian McKellen, John Grant, Nadine Shah and Nitin Sawhney. Brilliant new album – been playing it constantly and very much looking forward to seeing live gig in November. Don’t suppose anybody knows when the set is due to start? (know doors open time but not when gig starts) – any hints very much appreciated.
