Fresh On The Net Live: Edinburgh

Fresh On The Net Live Edinburgh, 15th September 2019

Come and join us for Fresh On The Net Live in Edinburgh, which will be held at Leith Depot on Sunday 15th September. Cloth, William Douglas, Garlands, Annie Booth, Sera, Vulpes Urbana, and Eve Goodman will all be performing. Tickets will be £5 on the door on the night, first-come, first-served.

The schedule for this event is as follows:

A firm favourite on BBC Radio Wales and newly picked for the BBC Horizons 2019-2020 project.

A collective of Scottish, Welsh and English musos and poets with Fresh On The Net Top 10, BBC 6 Music, and BBC Introducing Mixtape under their belts. See their Facebook page.

Recently chosen for BBC Horizons alongside some astounding work in Welsh and English with many plays across BBC Wales, BBC 6 Music and a recent Fresh Fave.

Annie is a young singer-songwriter based in Edinburgh. Performing her indie-rock tinged folk throughout Scotland. With BBC Quay Sessions and the BBC Introducing stage at XpoNorth she has also received support from Roddy Hart / Vic Galloway. Check out Annie’s Bandcamp page.

Glasgow based punk trio just voted top 10 Fresh On The Net track this week complete our bill. Very excited to bring their noise to our event. See their Facebook page.

With his band Miracle Glass Company a firmly established outfit they have been championed by Vic Galloway on BBC Radio Scotland and Owen Dylan Morris. Headlining shows from Camden Rocks to Tartan week in New York. A serious heavyweight of the Scottish scene plays solo here. See the Miracle Glass Company website.

Another band Vic Galloway has hailed from the rooftops this Glaswegian outfit are total class and good friends of Fresh On The Net AND Tom Robinson’s personal cherry pick for the night and about to play the mighty Latitude Festival. Check out their Facebook page.

  3. Thanks folks! I imagine a monthly leap around cities great and small on this basis as indie events under one banner would create the best festival concept yet.

    All that matters is the ethos remains the same and the events compliment each other. It could be a very lovely way to map tours nationwide for bands too but for now it is simply a lovely sequence of good bands, playing nice gigs in good venues.
