Fresh On The Net Live is the first ever live music event organised by the fully independent digital new music platform Fresh On The Net in partnership with Jacksons Lane Arts Centre. It is a one-day mini-festival on Sunday 21st July and it is FREE ENTRY all day and evening. It takes place in North London.
We are also excited to announce a second Fresh on the Net Live is happening at Leith Depot in Edinburgh on Sunday 15th September with a mouth watering line-up of upcoming bands and artists.
Fresh On The Net Live is a chance to see 16 bands and artists linked to appearances at our Listening Post and, in most cases, to BBC Introducing in their regions too performing in three spaces – The Boogaloo Jacksons Lane Theatre and Upstairs @ Jacksons Lane – on either side of the street outside Highate Undergound Station (Northern Line).
The event kicks off at 2pm when doors open at Jacksons Lane Arts Centre with the first artist on the Theatre Stage at 2.30 and the Upstairs area kicking off later at 6.15. The Boogaloo also joins the party from early evening with the first band on there at 6pm. A playlist dominated by Fresh on the Net artists will play in the venues too.
We are working with the amazing team at Jacksons Lane to bring you this unique and exciting experience. So please come along and help us make it a day and night to remember. Already plans are at an advanced stage for a third Fresh On The Net Live in Liverpool which won’t be free but will still offer amazing value for a lot of top quality bands and artists. We have a provisional date of Saturday 9th November so look out for news about it soon.
