FOTN Live Liverpool Oct 2020

UPDATED: Fresh On The Net Live in Liverpool will be a FREE ENTRY festival of live music on Friday 30th October, 2020 at the Handyman Pub.

Leith trio with a multitude of rave reviews and airplay across Amazing Radio, Louder than War, Clash Music and Scottish Alternative Music Awards. Hip-hop, psych, dub and soul.

A fave of BBC 6 Musics LIZ KERSHAW and BBC Wales JANICE LONG we have also had Ali Horn as a Fresh Fave several times.

Cracking local band, top 25 fave, regular feature on BBC Introducing in Merseyside and a just must see live band.

Another local institution with several FOTN featurings under their belt. Like her a lot and came especially recommended by venue owner Kev the Smithdown Chief.

We at HQ have lost count of the amount of times we have fallen in love with songs by this duo. Several top 10 FOTN features and multiple airplay on BBC 6 Music. YES!

Folk-hop, psych sounds and beat driven poetry with FOTN top ten and many plays on BBC 6 Music. Compared to Ivor Cutlor meets Arab Strap by Tom Robinson. Signed to Welsh indie label CEG RECORDS.

Bilingual uber talented and another top 10 fresh fave act. Sera is also part of the BBC Wales Horizons winners and also signed to CEG RECORDS.

EVE GOODMANAnother fine artist from the CEG RECORDS stable and on the BBC Wales Horizons project. Eve has a sublime voice and is a captivating stage presence. TBC.

A simply sublime poet from the proud town of Wrexham where her BBC Three feature garnered over a million views and shot her to a publishing deal and a whole plethora of great gigs. A real honour to host her here.

A poet to admire and a performer with shows under his belt at Focus Wales, Wrexfest, Rhuddfest, VOICEBOX and as a guest on Calon FM. All round great human being and artist of distinction.

Any artist is welcome to send us one track from Monday morning each week via our inbox. It will be heard by every member of our moderation team that week. Our favourite 25 tracks then appear here on our Listening Post every Friday to Sunday, giving the artists a chance to find out what complete strangers think of their music.
