WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?
Our playlists are orientated to the alternative music fan. Lyrics are not essential, abstract ideas are embraced and the fusing of different genres is encouraged.
A FEW WORDS ON THIS WEEKS PICKS
This week we ended up with just under 60 minutes of eclectic picks. As always, there’s all sorts going on in this mix, with the playlist alternating between tracks with lyrics, and tracks without.
As fate would have it, I was being introduced to some French music the night before I was set to finish listening through the full inbox. I joked the next day that the inbox needs more French music. Lo and behold, within 10 minutes I stumbled on a track called ‘Amour’ by Parisian ‘indie rock’ band ‘Velvet Sunset’. Not only that, but I liked it enough to stick it in the mix. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
I won’t dwell on every track but… if we picked your track, we liked it and inevitably others will too if you keep plugging away to get your music heard!
