Every week Signal Committee create an Eclectic Picks playlist. All tracks are selected from the full inbox of 200 tracks that are submitted each week to Fresh On The Net. Check out their picks from Monday 8th February below.
WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?
Our playlists are orientated to the alternative music fan. Lyrics are not essential, abstract ideas are embraced and the fusing of different genres is encouraged.
A FEW WORDS ON THIS WEEKS PICKS
This week we ended up with just over 60 minutes of eclectic picks. I won’t dwell on every track but… if we picked your track, we liked it and inevitably others will too if you keep plugging away to get your music heard! So if you are reading this, whether as an artist or as a music fan, please give the full playlist a good blast through and drop a comment below with some positive vibes to all these emerging artists.

Many thanks for bringing this music to my ears… faves this week were:
MICHAEL DENNY – Architecture and
S/TRON- Paranomial
You’re very welcome John. Looking at our singer’s scribbles, his favourites were S/Tron and Gianna Barba. So good, he ticked them twice!
Another vibrantly exciting Eclectic!
Starts off spectacularly with Tangerinecat – probably not experienced anything remotely like this since seeing Warsaw Village Band live.
Japonica got a sort of Jónsi magic going on; more ace exotic instruments played in inspired manner in ArHai; Butterjunk track already enjoyed – really pleasing to see it here; The Actions – sounds impeccable (& engineered at Invada!); Ḏ Ʀ Ŏ Ḟ got a Joy Division propulsion to the intensity;
& all good & interesting throughout;
& – again !!! – Tangerinecat – I might just develop an obsession for this track
!!!!Hats off to The Committee!!!!
Cheers Leo! It was a particularly interesting week this week we thought! And it’s good to see some regular support for the playlists – so keep spreading the love. Muchly appreciated!
