FOTN Live 2024 -8th September

We are thrilled to announce the return of our unique FREE festival Fresh on the Net Live, supported by the Arts Council of England and The National Lottery UK. The festival first took place in London and Edinburgh in 2019. Since then, a combination of the COVID pandemic, late withdrawal of a venue and lack of funding have contributed to a five year gap. But we are back and this time the festival will take place on different Sundays in London and the Midlands.

WHY FRESH ON THE NET LIVE IS UNIQUE

Fresh on the Net Live is unique among UK festivals for two key reasons. Firstly, in a reflection of the digital music platform it represents, it is an event entirely consisting of performances by grassroots/independent artists. All these artists have, in recent times, been voted into our Fresh Faves by our awesome readers. Secondly, it takes place at separate locations on separate days. The first of those is on Sunday 8th September at The Lower Third on Denmark Street (part of the Outernet) from 1PM until 10.30PM.
Confirmed for this amazing event are:

SANSHA: 98 POLY: THE YOUTH PLAY: RETROPXSSY: CHINWE: ALEXANDRA LEAVING: ALICE OFFLEY: ROISIN QUINN & ARPRAXIS (DJ Set) + 1 more to be revealed soon.

Tickets are FREE but you need to get in quick as they are limited by capacity. To order yours, click here

Team Freshnet

Any artist is welcome to send us one track from Monday morning each week via our inbox. It will be heard by every member of our moderation team that week. Our favourite 25 tracks then appear here on our Listening Post every Friday to Sunday, giving the artists a chance to find out what complete strangers think of their music.

  1. Sadly I am going to miss this as we are away. It is an amazing line-up and a great way to showcase independent music. I hope you have a full house – book your tickets now folks!

  2. Look forward to seeing some of you there on Sunday afternoon before I head in for my NowPlaying @6Music show at Broadcasting House
