Eclectic Picks: Batch 495

Every week Signal Committee present an Eclectic Picks playlist. All tracks are selected from the full inbox of 200 tracks that are submitted each week to Fresh On The Net.

WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR?

Our playlists are orientated to the alternative music fan. Lyrics are not essential, abstract ideas are embraced and the fusing of different genres is encouraged. If you used to write band names on your pencil case at school, you’ll probably like our playlists.

RADIO OPPORTUNITIES

We all have ambitions to get on national radio, but in the meantime there are loads of great, independent radio stations that are always looking for new music of the alternative variety. They offer no promises, but the following hosts tell me they that, if you made this list, they’d like you to get in touch to be considered for their show:

If you are are radio presenter/DJ looking for someone to do all the hard work for you in filtering out the more alternative tunes hitting the FOTN inbox each, week, just give Signal Committee a shout!

cracking week. Just realised that CaitlinLM has only released four tracks on Soundcloud and I love and play them all. This one is an instrumental for a change… the stuff she does just resonates with me… and she’s from Manchester too!!
Also that long Mike Donoghue track is wonderful. Thanks all.

  2. The Fantom Man

A privilege to be part of this super list! Thanks for selecting Telling Lies feat.St3v3L33 Signal Committee!

  3. The Phat Controllers

Such a strong selection, where to start? I’m going to avoid nepotism and not choose the people I know and love on Twitter already… and choose only one standout, even though they are ALL so good. But which one? I was a sucker for Anteeter’s spiralling industrial groove which grabbed me straight off, and demanded more listens.
