Please have mercy on us mods. Here are some things that you probably aren’t aware of.

Every week, the inbox opens at 8am UK time every monday and closes at 6pm on the Wednesday that week. Between monday and Friday 8am that week, the team will listen to all the tracks submitted.

Before this happens, someone has to go through the list to make sure there aren’t any repeat submissions, remixes, tracks ineligible because they have made the faves in the last 90 days, or even ones that are removed straight after being uploaded.

On top of this, someone has to keep an eye on the listening post during the weekend to make sure that no one is cheating – telling their friends that they’re on the listening post and then we suddenly see a spike – or voting for their own tracks – bear in mind this is in bold and in CAPITAL LETTERS BEFORE YOU EVEN GET TO THE TRACKS ON THE LISTENING POST SO YOU CAN’T MISS IT.. Soliciting of votes is the only rule that comes with a permanent ban it’s to keep things fair.

We are a team of volunteers who look after the site, and we spend a lot of time listening to your music, all we ask in return is that you follow the details when submitting your tracks.
