Elia Rulli

Elia Rulli

Elia Rulli is a songwriter, producer, singer and haloumi addict. He was raised by a pack of feral jazz musicians and slowly reintegrated into society when he was transported from Toronto to London. It’s going well.

He accepts that his threesome with Prince and Joni Mitchell will never happen but still kind of lives that fantasy out musically. He writes and performs existential girl band songs about nervous breakdowns and cats carefully disguised as love songs (which obviously doesn’t sound like Prince or Joni but a boy can dream).

Under the moniker Elia & The Low Tears he’s gotten plays from Tony Blackburn, Gary Crowley and Tom Robinson who had him and his band on his BBC Radio 6 Music show for a live session.
